In Loving Memory of Kirti Auntie
The Jammy Jam Invitational started in Charleston, South Carolina in the fall of 1999 as an avenue for friends separated by work and geography to get together and play golf. In the early months of 2002, a friend lost a mother to a sixteen year battle with breast cancer. Inspired by their friend's speech at his mother's funeral, the organizers felt it was an easy and natural transition to make their fledgling golf tournament a fund-raiser for this terrible disease. Today, the golf tournament has grown to an annual event that annually raises thousands of dollars for the Suzan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
